One of the biggest realizations I’ve had is that all the injuries and painful experiences in my life happened for me, not to me.
Losing my dad at a young age taught me firsthand how repressing emotions for years can cause pain in the body. As a teenager, it also led me to my first craniosacral therapist, who explained the role emotions play in the physical body and was the first person who helped me see that my chronic headaches wouldn’t magically disappear with a bottle of pills or surgery.
Getting laid off from my stable corporate job forced me to realize that I needed to change careers and only then did I enroll in massage school.
Later I began to understand that the body is so much more complex than a series of tight muscles and trigger points. As a chronically injured athlete, I began to investigate alternative approaches to healing so I could race my bike and lift without pain.
This journey led me back to the world of craniosacral therapy, this time as a student. The more immersed I became in this work, in this deep listening to the inner wisdom of the body, the more my gifts as an empath and energy worker opened up. I began to experience how working with energy caused rapid and more permanent healing in myself and my clients.
I am the sum of all these experiences. They’ve shaped me into who I am today and have made it possible for me to guide my clients at a much deeper level.
I’ve realized first hand that healing is a journey that often requires help along the way. Someone to guide you and keep you moving in the right direction.
For those invested in doing the work, I’ll be your guide. Together, we will uncover the root causes of your pain, work to balance the body on all levels and achieve long term, lasting results by teaching you how to listen to your intuition and understand and work with your body on a much deeper level.
